Ok

Being hunting three times now, and I am hooked.

Top item on list of items to purchase is a bag for the blind.

I have been using a backpack with a waterproof linear. Works fine, but when you need to find something in the bag, it sort of a pain.

So what I am looking for is a bag that is waterproof, and has pockets that can allow me to organize my stuff. So Im not frantckly looking for the item I need at that moment.

Went to MACKS web site and looked at Drake Floating Blind Bag Item #: DRW35 XL NBU

Does anyone have this bag, or something better?

Drake or Avery bags, can't go wrong with either.

I have the Final Approach Floating Blind Bag that I got on sale at WingSupply. Can haul alot of crap with it. I mostly keep it in the car, so I am now looking for a couple of smaller bags to haul out to the spots. I pretty much use the blind bag for my waterfowl stuff and a backpack for my dove stuff.

For duck hunting I have a very small bag. I like to pack in real light though. If you are hunting private or a place where you are not going to be hauling it around then I guess you can use a bigger bag and put more crap in it. To me it just seems like a lot of people end up putting in a lot of stuff that they don't even use.

I like to keep some stuff in the truck that I probably won't need but if I have to get it I can go back and get it.

Like Marcstar said, I have a large Avery bag for hunting where I dont ahve to haul, hold thermos and everything.

Then when I am hiking in I have the small Avery bag, holds everything I need and if you loop your thermos strap over the top you can carry it all very easily.

For my money Avery is the best you can get in blind bags. But that is IMO.

If I'm walking in I have a backpack that I use. It has a place for my gun and everything else I need. If I'm hunting private or from a boat I have a waterproof DU bag made by Mad Dog Gear that I use.

I really like my Game Winner from Academy. It works fine for me and is about half the price of the name brands and has the same features for the most part. It has worked fine for three years.

I know what you're thinkin'.....and you're wrong!

I bought a x-large blind bag from bass pro and I really like it. it has ample room and has a mesh pouch in the top along with a place for your cell phone and a hard plastic formed section for sunglasses. It cost $39.99 which I thought was very resonable

Mine is a Game Winner, but I wish it had a few more pockets. The inside is just one big cavity, I would like a phone pocket on the inside and maybe some shell holders
