I posted this in photos and thought I would post it here also because I am so proud of him. He took both bucks this season with one shot kills. The first buck traveled about 15 yards before expiring and the second one did not take a step. I have already explained to him that some people hunt a lifetime for bucks like this and be proud of what he has done and know that he will not kill bucks like this every year. They are both free ranging deer shot in Medina County. 7 pointer with 16 inch spread field dressed 125 lbs. 10 pointer 15.5 inch spread, good mass, good tine length, great length in main beam, field dressed 115 lbs (been running does hard.)

That is just awesome. Tell him congrats. I'll guarantee you he's hooked for life and that's terrific! Be proud dad!!!
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I was going to get the 7 pointer mounted because it was his first deer, but when he took the ten I switched the deer out and am only getting a horn mount on the first and a shoulder on the second.

He's off to a great start! Congrats!
When he was young, I told Dale Jr. that hunting and racing are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible. Dale Earnhardt
