I use the Magpul MOE. Its alot like the MAID but does not have the interchangeable back straps. Magpul also has a MOE+ now with a rubber grip to it like the Houge. I havent handled one yet but I may buy one for my new project to try it out.

The Miad has interchangable palm swells and front straps to customize to your likeing and hand size... makes it more user friendly on top of the fact you can get different inserts for the storage compartment. It comes with a holder for 3 spare shells but on another site I saw where you can get them to hold batteries etc.. Brandon972 modifies the insert that it comes with(3 shell) to hold a spare bolt and firing pin... very handy if your running and gunning. If you want to see different ar-15 product manufactures for grips you can check out AR15news.com they also have a facebook page. I also like this grip, if for no other reason but asthetics. click me

Very interesting, I'm liking the MIAD's features. Gun show is next weekend, I'll probably pick one up.
Thanks y'all!

Both my ARs have Hogue grips. Are they the best? IDK but they work well for me.

I have both a MIAD and MOE on my ARs. I like the MIAD alot more. The texture is rougher and adjustable straps are nice. The MOE is still nice and I bet the MOE+ is even better. A huge upgrade over the standard pistol grip.
On a side note, I have Hogue grips on my AK and Saigas. It is a super comfortable grip. If I didn't already have Magpul grips on my ARs I'd probably be putting a Hogue on them.

Ergo is my favorite.
Its kind of like asking, which pistol feels the best....all personal feel/opinion.

Magpul MOE is what I use, thinking of getting the MIAD however I don't think it would be worth it since I like the MOE so much.

Another vote for the MIAD ! Like others have said the inserts make it real easy to get the exact feel you want. I really like the finger groove as it gives a real positive grip. Those style grips that puts the pall swell a little further back are a big improvement over the standard as it puts your trigger finger in a more comfortable position on the trigger. The feel is much better IMO. Another thing that's pretty neat is that you can change out the inserts with another color to get a two tone grip. Looks really good if your going with another color than black on the rest of your rifle !

I have a couple MOEs, a MIAD, and a few Hogues, all are great grips...

I use the Magpul Magpul also has a MOE+ now with a rubber grip to it like the Houge. I havent handled one yet but I may buy one for my new project to try it out. I had to go up to Sherman to vist a family member in the hospital a little while ago. On the way I stoped at Cheaper Than Dirt and they had one left of the MOE+. The rubber texture feels just like the Houge but it has the shape feel of the Magpul. This is probably the one I am going to go with on the new project if I can find one in OD Green.

The stark pistol grip is grate for me. Has a bulit in curved finger hole and the palm back is large.
