options are:
Baretta AL391 urika 2 20 Gauge or Browning Silver Hunter 12 Gauge
Baretta is about $300 bucks more, wondering if the baretta is $300 better. Thanks for your thoughts,
Brent

if you dont plan on getting it "fitted" then whichever one points/fits the best for you.
Forum says "Veteran Tracker". I could not track a garbage truck into a fireworks factory.

If you are going to use it for turkey, duck, or pheasant hunting you should get the 12 gauge. If you are going to use it for dove, quail, or pidgeon hunting I would get the 20 gauge.

too much difference between the 20 and the 12....if they were both the same gauge i would say Beretta... Ive got a urika2 in 12 gauge and that thing has never let me down.. It has shot and spit out thousands of rounds with outh even the slightest hiccup.
Prob the best and most reliable shotgun i have ever purchased.

The beretta is the auto champion of the sporting clays gun....reliability
Nothing wrong with the browning would be next on my list

I have owned a silver hunter for a couple of years now and it is a great shooting shotgun that fits me perfectly. You can't go wrong with a Browning!!

I've shot competition Skeet for years, but do not now, however, their is a big following for the Berretta's but they break just as often as the Brownings do....Run 20,000 or mor rounds a yr. thru them and they all wear...DD

Beretta 391! You will not regret it. I have a Browning auto that I won in a sporting clays event and when bird hunting it wants to jam when ejecting. My Beretta will shoot 7/8, 1oz or 1 1/8oz without jamming.

I have 2 391's. In 12ga and a 20ga match to it. The Sporting model.
The 12 stays at home, I carry the 20ga everywhere. It just feels and fits good.
My Dove hunting buddy uses a Browning Gold 12ga. but he has a 391 20ga too.

I always liked the Beretta 390....my friend in Ca. purch a new 6lb. 28ga that they just came out with for about $1800 and went to Argentina..was shooting Fiochi Factory loads and it jammed every 5th round...I see the Sporting Clay guys shooting the 391's and I think they are good by high priced for a hunting shotgun..
Unfortunately many shooters bad mouth Brownings ect and Autos in gen'l...most don't clean or lub their weapons...Some bought into the old 1100 mith about you don't have to lube it...Might be the factory wants to sell some more guns..My Dad's Mod 11 Rem on a Browning Patent and my 12 ga. Mod ll on Browning Pat. are both about 100 yrs old and don't jam...get cleaned and oiled when used or handled...Let's see how many of the new plastic guns last that long..Dad bought his new for $54 when he came back from France in the First World War...DD
