Heading out in the morning to KCR for a weekend exotic hunt with 2 fellow THF'rs - AaromM58 & madhatr02.
We've heard alot of good things about KCR so we're excited about the opportunity to hunt there. I'm sure there will be plenty of pics (& videos) to be shared. It seems that madhatr is quite the accomplished amateur videographer and has offered his services if he finishes early.
Really looking forward to a great time, some nice animals, and just a chance to get back out and enjoy nature!!! Will post updates as signal allows.

Should be a blast get to meet some new people, see a new place and get out and enjoy the great outdoors. No exact clue what I will be hunting but the .308 is dead on and we will be "loaded for bear".

Dangit now I won't be able to sleep tonight why couldn't you start this post tomorrow Paul!!!!

There's no luck involved in hunting a 640 acres of high fence shooting preserve. You'll kill animals. Have Fun and enjoy.

Otto, I am going to very respectfully ask you to go back and edit your post. I respect your opinion and fought for 9 years in the Marines for you to be able to have it but This is not the place for it. We are excited about our hunt and this is a post for those who like the stories and want to see pics and several people I know will be watching for updates. There are 4,000 other post on the subject where you can gladly post your personal opinion on the topic and it would be welcome but please not here that is not the topic of this thread. Thanks in advance.

For the others we are packed coffee has been drank Pnfireman is on his way and we will be rolling!!!!!! I will try to keep some good post with stories and an honest review of KCR I have hunted with several good outfitters this year so the bar is high.

There are two kinds of people in this world, those who believe they can and those who believe they can't. They are both correct.

Obviously Otto hasn't hunted a 600 acre high fence ranch. It can be very challenging.

Heck I hunted a 250 acre high fence place in the Hill Country for an Axis buck. Came home empty handed....but I have seen some places where the deer/game don't run when they see you coming. I'm countin' down the days till I get to head down to KCR.

It could be a 100,000 acre ranch, but if it was high fenced you are still going to have haters. Just the way it goes. Most people just aren't as big of jerks about it!

Saw a ton of animals several shooters of different types just not the ONE I was ready to pull the trigger on. It is always a little unnerving to pass on animals no guarantee you will have another opportunity but since I am very open to what I shoot have a feeling things will be ok especially with what I have seen.

Very nice operation with some good rates and nice setups is my initial reaction so far.
