I really like the PDX1. Its bonded and it expands really well while geting deep penetration. Here is the PDX1 I tested last year in 40S&W. This is just Gov. contract overrun ammo thats why its in the black and white box but the bullet is the PDX1 that they load for the civilian market. This load here is by far the most impressive 10mm load I have ever tested. I dont think they make it in 10mm anymore but they do in other calibers. If you look hard enough at gun shows and online you can probably get your hands on some. This one made the Black Talon I tested look silly. You also cant go wrong with a heavy Speer Gold Dot. I have never tested a Gold Dot that didnt impress me.

If you want to see and read about the other bullets I tested in December here is the link. There are a couple of 10mm loads and couple of 45ACP loads as well as a few others. http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/u...EST#Post2885105

A 200 grain XTP out of a G20 in 10mm is about as good as it gets. A bonded or solid bullet would also be great medicine.

Like Chad said the Hornady XTP is another top notch choice. I have never tested them in 45ACP or 10mm but I have in other calibers and they always do well.

Ain't it funny how reliable a simple lead bullet at 1200 fps can be? Makes ya think a little, don't it?
Hmmm...
