For you XD loyalist out there this might be of particular interest if you've be looking for a small stick of dynamite for concealed carry.  Its a single stack .45ACP that holds 5+1 and has a 3.3" barrel  Is only 1" thick.  Weighs in at 29oz. http://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/springfield-armory-xds/

WOW!! That looks sweet and will most likely be my next carry option. Kinda disappointed by the weight, but a good holster should be able to solve that problem.

WOW!! That looks sweet and will most likely be my next carry option. Kinda disappointed by the weight, but a good holster should be able to solve that problem. Under 2 pounds for a .45? Does not sound too bad really....

Checkout the Glock 36, its very similar. Glock actually weighs only 20.11 ounces. Single stack too.

glocks are great guns,and i have had several,even a 36,but i prefer springfield xd's. they just fit and feel better in my hand,and i can shoot them better.i also like the xd trigger,the grip safety,the loaded chamber indicator on the xd's as well. cant wait to get one of these xds-45 in my hand!

I like that it's thinner than the glock but can't understand why it weighs so much more. Wonder if that weight is with a loaded mag.
