it has been a few months since i have had a solid chance at some piggies. guy i am building a house for let me go out to his ranch and coleman and blast away. something about cruising around on a four wheeler with a gun strapped to my back that makes my nuts swell up.

drove around his ranch trying to get a layout and pattern the wind. settled in under some brush about 100 yards down wind of one of his feeders around 3:45. laid down on the ground and took nap. i woke up to some squealing and here come this group out of the creek bottom right at 5:00.

stood up and let my eyes adjust then took out the biggest one in the group. as they scattered i got another one one the run. about 10 min later they all came back. waited for a big nasty boar to come out but nothing showed so i shot another one just before dark. when i went to recover the pigs i saw something squirming in the mud next to the first pig. it was a little one i did not even know was there. first shot was a 'twofer' finished it off with 22mag.

loaded up the four wheeler and headed back to the bunkhouse.

this was a rare treat for me. what a blast.

Reminds me of the twofer I had...didn't even see the piglet until after everything...have a pic but pretty graphic. Head shot with a 7mm mag.

A ride in the country, a rifle on your back, a short nap and BACON!!!

Don't get much better than that unless you have Bikinied Bathing Beauties to clean and cook 'em for ya!!

Coffee all over my desk...

Great job amigo! I'm hoping to get a bunch of piggies in February?

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, will you have time to do it over?
