If a guy wanted to book a 3-4 day guided hunt in south texas with food & lodging for a 150 class deer what would be the going rate ? I am giving up my lease this year and want to try the package hunt rought !
Thanks in advance Gordon

I would say from $2500 to maybe as high as $5000 or so depending on the ranch and the food/lodging.

I have a buddy that is a guide I can put you in contact with him he has a south tx lease but he also has a 6k mld ranch about and hour out of Dallas that is prolly the best ranch I have ever been on. And it low fence, fair chase. Pm me if you want his number and on the ranch outside if Dallas 4 day hunt kill the buck you want to kill and its one flat fee some places once you get over 135 you start paying by the point. Can get high fast.

Do a search on the internet for Texas Trophy Hunting ranches and you will get plenty of them. Also check out Los Cazadores site under either the LF or HF catergories and check out the ranch names/outfitters and search for their websites. Should get plenty of leads from there. Then just ask for plenty references or post up on here and get lots of feedback on the ones you talked to. Also check with rtp on here with fairchase hunting, think he is booked right now.

If you are not looking to hunt only South Texas pm and I can give you a couple of ranches in central Texas that do hunts by the price and do not add on for inches over a certain score.

Deerslayer, How about a free range whitetail hunt in Colorado. I have a new outfitter there who has been doing this for 17 years. We have a management hunt that might be right up your alley. Check out my website in my signature. Here is a couple pictures.

Feel free to PM me with any questions you might have.
Thanks
