Scouted some birds in the terrible downpour monday, but was it worth it. Monday I only had 2 birds but the new spot was holding a ton of teal some gads and a few mallards. So, this morning I had a chance to get em a shot! Arrived early to make the 2 mile walk back there and get set up just at legal. It opened up with birds fast mostly teal downed 3 rather fast then a single gadwall came in dropped it and missed a few here and there then made the closing deal on a double, gadwall drakes. It was one of my favorite mornings hunting in a while just wish I could have shot a little better early would of had some more drake teal to the bag instead of gadd, but dang they are fast. Still done in 27 minutes and was able to sit back and watch groups circle swing wide come into the decoys for the next 45 minutes. Did see a few mallards but that was once all the shooting was over. Early morning picture sun not even up yet  with the sun on em   have to cross the creek to be able to walk to the spot, use the yak for 40 yards  I always enjoy the stuff I find no sheds today

Should have held out for the real green. That's the problem with most of you so called duck hunters, can't hold your load for some real ducks.

Saw a few mallards notice I said saw not feet down in the decoys I had a pair that was close and thats it. Thanks though

Blacklab if you dont got anything good to say then get of the dang forum. We don't need people badmouthing other people. Does it make you feel good about yourself?? Because it makes you look bad. On another note great shoot Aggieduck!! Last time I checked those are 6 "real" ducks!! Beautiful birds

black lab sounds like a guy i had come in on me last year, around same described time, and blowing a kazoo,,,blowing his load at water turkeys..... could it be  GOOD HUNT AGGIE
