A buddy from work and I went out yesterday. Saw lots of ducks, but they acted like they had played thus game before. Couldn't convince pthem it was safe. End up with one for me, and my buddy missed his shot at this guys girlfriend. Still a fun morning, and my first greenhead. He's a beast and this pic does not do justice to his colors.

Wife just told me not to cut him. Apparently she thinks he is good enough for the living room.

I think I got one picked. Going to try to visit his shop soon. Need to take the wife. I'll let her pick the pose. She has been very supportive of my hunting, and very understanding. She always said she doesn't want dead animals in the living room, and is even getting tired of the animal paintings on the wall. So when she said she thought it would look good over the tv, I'll give her a much say as she wants.

Lucky guy!! I need your wife to talk to mine. Maybe she can talk some sense into her. I have a euro mount deer up right now and that took a lot of convincing. I thought it would get my foot in the door and open the way for other stuff but she aint budgin.
