Kinda' what I was thinking. It could be a non-ringtail cat,super elusive and super deadly too. They eat honey badgers for breakfast. Don't go out there at night or under-gunned!

Grey fox. Ringtail cats have very short legs, and most certainly have very predominant white and black rings on their tails.
