Well I finally have my first green head. I understand most of yall shoot them all the time, but it's a sort of rare bird for the public places in my area. Awesome way to end a so-so hunt for me. My buddy had 4 greys & 1 teal and I only had 1 grey and a spoony hen before I dropped this guy.   Now I need to decide how I want to get him mounted. Maybe yall can post up some pics of your green head mounts?

Nice Bird!! Took me several years to shoot my first one too.

Congrats.
Got my first greenhead this year. He wasn't dead, and I ain't into the biting of the head thing. Rang his neck and didn't look good enough to mount after that.
Hope to get another one.

Nice mallard I haven't got one yet. I hunt a feed lot pond,seen lots of widgeon,teal, and pins no mallards. Hope to get one this weekend.

That is a nice greenhead. I wish I would have gotten my first mounted...
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes
