Thanks guys! Maybe I'll see some of you guys out there sometime! Count on it! I'll be sitting acoss the tank from you Sat morn.  Youd be out of position if you did that.You must be a rookie.

Oh you boys went and did it now. I'm telling everyone in Louisiana that the ducks are at Lewisville, Towakani, and LBJ. BTW, duck hunting over here is real spotty. Too much water. I can't believe I'm saying that after the drought we just experienced. Also not enough snow and ice up north. A bad day over here is still usually a decent day though.

I live up here in Alvord and there is a lot of good hunting if u know where the birds are.

Taking a group of newbies up there in the morning, gonna show them clear lake, the pond on unit 51, and some others you have to treck to get to, oh and hopewell, Ill let you know how the hunt goes

Is LBJ grasslands open for evening hunts? I went out of town for work this weekend, and wanted to try and get in one last hunt before the duck season ended. I hunted Caddo grasslands on wednesday in the monsoon, but had zero luck. Appreciate the help.

I hunt ray Roberts and kill the limit almost every time. I hope I didn't give away some super top secret info. If you want to hunt where I hunt, I'll be the guy in the camo waders and 7 mallard dekes. Good luck finding me in the 35,000 acres out there.
What an a$$ whip you X spot hunters are about naming public lakes.
Sometimes a little self-therapy is good for the soul... getting out to mother nature, finding peace in reading a good book, re-learning how to take care of yourself.

sptaylor, Hope you had a great time. according to your post you did. I live in PA. I don't mind telling people where I hunt. I have so many places on the same bit of land , I could move around. Especially Turkey. You live in PA., You want to know where to get a Bird, just ask me..

There is a public land for Ducks here in PA. that is sholder to shoulder the first day.(Saturday). But I go during the week, nobody but myself and maybe one other guy. Still plenty of Ducks. Pass shooting from one swamp to another. Just have to be smart. No problem telling people where it is. I know during the week it is mine!!
