Im not trying to confuse you. Some of the counties I have seen show a ML season, I'm just not sure if it's all Counties. Make sense? Best of luck

This is off of tpw web site. Muzzleloader-Only Open Season: Jan. 2-15, 2012. Bag Limit: As specified for the general open season. All restrictions established for the take of buck deer during the general open season remain in effect.
No permit required for the take of antlerless deer, except on properties for which MLD permits have been issued.

Heres what I mean, and this is current. Look at the two counties for the examples I am using............
Upcoming Texas Hunting Seasons for San Jacinto County
Bag Limit: 4 deer, no more than 2 bucks, and no more than 2 antlerless, all seasons combined. General Season: Nov. 5, 2011-Jan. 1, 2012. On United States Forest Service, Corps of Engineers, and river authority lands, the take of antlerless deer shall be by permit only. On other tracts of land, antlerless deer may be taken without permits from opening day through the Sunday immediately following Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 5-27, 2011). From the Monday following Thanksgiving Day until the end of the season, antlerless deer may be taken by antlerless MLDP permit or LAMPS permit only. On tracts of land for which LAMPS permits have been issued, no LAMPS permit is required during the archery-only or muzzleloader-only open season.
Special Youth-Only Season: Early open season: Oct. 29-30, 2011. Late open season: Jan. 2-15, 2012.
Bag limits, provision for the take of antlerless deer, and special requirements of the county, shall be as specified for the first 2 days of the general open season.
Licensed hunters 16 years of age or younger may hunt deer by any lawful means during this season.
Pecos County
White-tailed Deer

Funny - a buddy of mine in Hardin County emailed me about this same topic last week. It depends on County you are hunting in. The way yours reads (which is like Cass and Hardin) and the way we interpret it...... the answer is "yes". As a comparison look at the wording for Caldwell County's muzzleloader season. It just references general season bucks but it does not have the separate sentence about antlerless like your County, Cass or Hardin. When in doubt call the game warden or TPWD.
Agreed - the way they separated the sentence about antlerless and its wording isnt very clear (IMO).

That's what the regs are where I'm hunting in Liberty County - looking forward to taking my first deer with my CVA muzzleloader this year.
