 Remington 1100 20 ga LT - Question on the shell stop

When I was cleaning the shotgun yesterday the metal strip that is the shell stop broke its weld and came out. Is this something a gunsmith can fix? Or is it time to sell it for parts?

Not welded in just staked. Any real gunsmith should fix that easy.
