What can youth shoot during the 2nd-15th youth only season? I have heard different limits from different people.
This is Shelby and Nacogdoches Counties.

According to the TPWD web site and the handbook in Hardeman where we hunt the youth cant take the same thing that they could the first two days of the season which in our case would be 1 buck and 4 does since there are no special or different limits between the first two days and the rest of the season. Other counties are different I guess as I haven't looked at any others. October and January Special Youth-Only bag limit, take of antlerless deer, and special requirements: In Bowie, Brazos, Camp, Cherokee, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Grayson, Gregg, Grimes, Hopkins, Houston, Lamar, Madison, Morris, Red River, Robertson, Rusk, Titus, Upshur, and Wood counties, the bag and permit requirements are the same as the period Nov. 24-27, 2011 for each respective county (see County Listings); and
For the remainder of the state, the bag and permit requirements are the same as for the first two days of the general season in the county (see County Listings). In a county where antlerless deer may be taken only by permit, a permit is required to take antlerless deer during the youth seasons.

The bag limit the same for ALL seasons. In other words, if a kid "limits out" during the general season in a given county, they're through for the year in that county. Whatever they have left on their limit after the early youth and general season, they can take during the late youth season.
In other words, kids cannot take a wide-rack buck during each of the early youth, general, and late youth seasons. However, if they haven't taken their annual season limit of bucks or doe during the early youth and general seasons, they can take whatever is left on their limit during the late youth season. And this includes (during the late youth season) doe not taken if doe could have been taken at the start of the general season.
