I fell backwards on my second kill this morning and I have a blow dryer down the boot of my waders and worry it may damage them. Any good ideas on how to get these dry in the next 4-5 hours? Thanks a lot.

I feel your pain did the same thing the other day. Used a leaf blower the other day. Ten minutes each leg and your golden. Way faster than the hair dryer.

Do you have a fan of any kind? Box fan, osilating, etc. rig up boots so fan can blow into them for 4-5 hours straight they will be dry in 2-3 easy just make sure they are open like as if you were wearing then so the air flows freely.

Hang them upside down over a small desk top fan, then spend $100 on a good forced air boot/glove dryer system. It will be the best money you will spend to prolong the life of a pair of waders.

I say just get them as dry as you can and tough it out.

I put mine on yesterday morning and the boots were soaked(I fell 2 days previous). Dont worry about it your feet will go numb in about 5 minutes.

If your going to use the blow dryer make sure you use low heat or cool air, too hot and it will loosen up glue on seems and cause leaks

Other that the fan trick you could try to crumple up a bunch of newspaper and shove them down into the boot. It will suck up the moisture. You'll have to do it a few times.

May sound a little crazy, but I stick my dryer hose down which ever leg needs it. They will be bone dry in an hour or two.

The problem with that is heat...you start doing that to waders on a regular basis then you might have a pair that doesnt last very long.

Seems like a wet/dry vac with the hose stuck into the blowing side just might do the trick. Cool air and a lot of it!!!

Get the peat wader dryers at cabelas...take advantage of the employee discount event! I store my waders on them and they're great.

+1 on the Peet's drier. I think they are only about $35 now at Cabela's, then you need the wader extensions for another $10, IIRC. They are fantastic.
