So it suppose to be at 17 mph and possibly hi gust of wind from the north this weekend. I'll be out alone on public with my boat on friday since my buddies won't be able to make it out with me. How many of you guys go out on windy days and about how far? The spot I plan on hunting is about a 5 to 10 min ride on open water.

17mph is a normal wind on the coast. At those wind speeds, it doesn't even cross my mind except for what direction it is out of.
