Jim is by far my favorite video hunter, and one of the few I can stomach. His myriad accomplishments speak for themselves. And with him, what you see is what you get-when he talks of hunter ethics, conservation, and his appreciation of nature in general you can tell he's speaking from the heart. I like to think I approach hunting in the same spirit. Finally, and not least, you can be damn sure something interesting will happen in every show!

easy to do when you have tons of money

Having lot's of money can't be held against him, and I believe he made his money from hunting. Jim is a class act, and donates vast amounts of time and monies to charities and the hunting sports.

I was supposed to guide him and his daughter on January 22nd. Too bad I'm leaving the country on the 17th... would have been a great time.

I met him a few years ago and briefly spoke with him. He seemed like a very nice guy. He was talking to an outfitter that I had hunted with in Canada. Don't know anything about his show because he is not on my cable package. I've read many of his magazine articles and find them true to life and interesting.

The Shockley shows with him hunting with his Dad are some of my favorites. Especially like Jim is all mature conscious and his Dad is like...oh a buck, BAM! And it's a little bitty one...takes me back to the way I was tought and hunted most of my life.

And what can I say, I'm a bad, bad man. Why else have a 61" TV? - to watch Tiffany Lakosky any chance I get....
