So I am looking for a .22 for just plinking away, but also been wanting a lever action, not to hunt with, just to have. Came across a Henry .22 lever action, anyone know anything about them? Good, bad?

I shot one yesterday, not a 22 ,but 357 mag. These things are great. Made in American, looks good, feels good, just a solid, tight rifle. You will not be dissapointed.

They are great guns, tremendously reliable; great people to deal with.

Once in the last ten years I had to call for a return number... the guy that answered the phone, was the OWNER/President of the company. I later learned that he still personally works virtually every place in the company on a random basis to stay in touch with employees and customers.
