Yeah but it's still one of the biggest whitetail showing up on our cameras-maybe we need AR in our county....Of course the drought hasn't helped this year.

5 1/2 and maybe 6 1/2 and I'm going to say probably 100".
A mature buck might be a deer, but you can bet it's a totally different animal

5 1/2 and maybe 6 1/2 and I'm going to say probably 100". I'm not great at scoring deer so I pass on that but I was going to say that bucks at least 5 1/2 as well. That is a very cool deer IMO. I'd shoot him in a heartbeat if given the opportunity.

I think he is 3.5 and will be much bigger in a non-drought year, let him live when he is 5.5 he will be a great buck...jmho

That deer is old. He looks young to some because of the small stature of hill country deer. Don't get your hopes up of him being bigger next year cause he is definitely on the down hill side.

Well my freezer is full, so he gets at least one more season. We'll see what he looks like next year if he survives the next couple weeks. He definitely has a big body, so I was skeptical about his being very young.

Hopefully due to the drought this year he could and might have a better rack next year though it's not too probable. The "Minnesota Monarch" grew by far his largest rack @8 1/2 yrs old (334") so it's possible. Good luck next year

Regardless of age, he'll never be anything but a six unless he gets kickers IMO. He's old enough if he was going to have more than six he would have done it by now, drought or not.
