Do any of you have problems with blackbirds eating your corn before the deer can get to it? How can I prevent that? Any ideas?

Shoot them and fry 'em up. They taste just as good as doves.

Blackbirds, doves, cardinals, sparrows, etc... all get some corn. Not much you can do about it without scaring the deer. I like to watch all the birds while I'm waiting for the deer to come in. It's just part of the free nature show.

There really isn't a problem with birds eating up all our corn. Sometimes crows come in, but there are usually only four or five in a murder, and they don't do enough damage to warrant the effort. If they start getting in greater numbers though we will probably take them out.
As far as other birds, we do get song birds picking at the corn, but again, not enough of them to really do any damage. I also find it nice to watch them while waiting.
We do get squirrels though and they fill their mouths up and bury a lot of corn. I think I will be taking a .22 with me next time we hunt.
If it looks good, eat it.
Rocks are cool, also kittens.

I feed the birds all day long! Was sitting out there this past weekend and a few doves looked so fat they could barely fly, they tended to waddle to the feeder.

Have you ever see 30+ turkeys come to a feeder. They can pick it clean in a hurry.

I don't mind a few doves, cardinals, etc, but these blackbirds come in by the thousands, I know yall have seen huge flocks of them around, they eat every last kernal before the deer even make it to my feeder.

Well, if you got black birds in the thousands then what are you waiting for? Sounds like it's time for some blackbird pie!
If it looks good, eat it.

As above, it would depend on how many there are? Are they crows or black birds or grackles?
I put bird seed in my feeder for doves and turkeys. You'd be amazed how many other birds, including sparrow hawks live off the feeder now
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.
