I wont buy another hornady product until the "zombie" crap goes away. You take the butt hurt award. HF, nice deer camps, zombie ammo, Tebow,.... Is there anything that you don't get your panties in a wad for? Dang, I got all of that. Can't wait to try out the zombies.... They aren't cheap at a dollar a round. Maybe I'll see some piggies this weekend to try them out. Actually, the Winchester BSTs were the most accurate out of the new AR

You obviously have no business sense at all, not that I'm suprised. You really need to quit riding your bicycle though. That little seat on there has made your spandex way too tight obviously.

I've got 3k rounds for my SHTF room, I'm ready for the apocalypse

good to see someone is having good performance from Hornady. I bought 4 boxes of hornady 117 BTSP in 25-06 and so far I have had 3 shells out of that lot that have had NO powder in them. a bit nerve racking... but I now I check every shell for powder before I load it in my gun... live and learn. Had the same happen with my old .308. I've probably told the story 5-10 times on here, but I fired one of them "no powder" loads and it went maybe and inch or two down the barrel. I just thought I must have pulled it really bad or something... next round... blew the barrel out the right side. Ruger fixed the gun, not Hornady.

Bullets have a max velocity they will hold together an pass through. Cup and coer bullets are famous for this and led to the premium bullet designs stareing with the nosler partioion and continueing through to todays designs. Bonded bullets, partioioned bullets, solid metal bullets..... Look at a swift bullets add where they have what bullets looklike when impact velocities change. Can be interesting. cup and cores work perfect at modest velocities, problem was hunters used them in magnums at a 100 yds. If used like intended their fine, used in magnums at long range thier fine, not at close range. now comes the bonded boolits put through a magnum at a 100 yds perfect mush room you say, yep right back to where we were with a .308 with cup and core bollits.

i shot a 90lb doe the other day at bow range with a 22 hornet and a 45 gr hornady sp, shot her behind the shoulder, arm pit with leg forward aiming for opposite leg, she folded right there and bulldozed on her hind legs for 20 yds and gave up the ghost, bullet broke opposite leg but stopped there no exit. but internal damage was top notch, looked like it was hit with a 308, her entryside after skinning had trauma from the front clear to her hind leg, ill get pics soon

I routinely shoot hogs and yotes with my .223 and use 55grn v-max hornady's 100% of the time. Hasnt failed me yet.

if you were to shoot a zombie how important would exit wounds be?
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

why did I stop following this thread till now? Hornady shoots well through all of my rifles so far so thats all I currently use. maybe i should get more than 1 rifle. JCB has more rifles than ammo I've put through mine.
