I had picked this buck out for my wife, because I have called her of a bunch of deer in the past due to the ranches we where hunting.. Any way she decided to stay home and do girl weekend... Well this guy cam running out dogging a doe I yelled he stopped at 260-270 and I pulled the trigger... right as I shot I saw what deer it was and well let's just say I was a little scared to come home

No threat there. It shoots really good. I have been keeping an eye open for the right one in 308 for myself..

Now back

I must not be truly grasping the meaning of "wall of shame".

If you pulled a shot and blew the nuts off a 3-yr old 160, I'd think that qualified.

These are all great deer. Well, most of them are.

Nice buck. Doesn't that split G-2 make him a 9?

I shot this guy on a morning hunt and couldn't find him. I finally went back to camp for some grub and later went back out. When I found him he had been down for about 4-5 hours and I shot a coyote while he was eating the buck. It's hard to tell from this photo, but his hindquarters were completely gone. I was glad I finally found him, but I sure wish it would have been much sooner.

All this talk about Core Lokts killing deer is ridiculous, just go to the discussions on ammo and their are plenty of guys lined up to tell you they don't kill deer. smile

I guess the buck I harvested a week ago didn't get that message about Core Lokts being ineffective! (.270 Win, in this particular instance.)

The title was chosen to encourage people to post a photo of ANY legal deer (buck or doe) harvested this season and to ignore any negative comments made about them or their deer. I also asked people to include information about the harvest. In doing so, we've already learned that Remington CorLokt remains as one of the most popular and effective brands of ammo.

I wish I could say that. No pic but once I shot a doe, low light, with my bow that when I walked up on her had grown a pair and a tiny fork horn rack. Thank goodness it was a two buck county and we were allowed a cull.
