went to the deerlease this weekend. out of everyone there we killed a total of 7 hogs. 1 boar saturday morning under a feeder, 4 sows in a trap right after that, and 2 more sows that evening. makes a total of 15 taken off our lease this season. and we still havent even put a dent in em.

dang man, you had them in the trap, could have made a few hundred bucks off of those oinkers.

but at least they are gone.

ya we thought about it but didnt feel like messing with em. we turned one of our feedpens into a hog trap and were gana try to get about 10 in it and if so then we will make some $ off em.

What are you using for bait? The hogs have been ignoring my trap lately. I have been using corn, hog feed, and some apples and such. Here are a couple from my trap, not nearly as big as yours. But the little one was real tasty.

i just use corn for bait. sometimes topped with a little powered jellow but its gotten to where it dosnt need the jellow anymore. and ya them little ones is some good eating!!!

or Hog Wild on top of the corn. the only difference in Hog Wild and Jello is the smell is stronger with Hog Wild. but like Big 10 said we dont even really use it anymore

I have tried the hog wild, but didn't notice in more intrest in the trap.
