Absolutely!! I witnessed it today, it was a doe and she was running down the county road and tried twice to get over the fence , and on her 3rd try she made it!! Only problem I saw was she was on the outside jumping in I would of really appreciated her efforts more if she would of been jumping out from inside of the high fence... pregnant even better .. seen some really nice genes behind this fence.. and trust me they don't need anymore deer in there!

Their not suppose to be able too. Contact the land owner to let him know. If anything he will appreciate it and might let you get a hunt in
If I put my wife in a high fence will her rack get bigger?

Never saw that....but I saw a 10 pt run through a hole about 18" diameter in a high fence at about 100 mph a couple of days ago...he was being chased by a BIG Russian boar...I think he had been through the fence before...

2 of the doe that were brought in were accidentally shot by one of their not so keened eye ex-guides, before they could even delivery their fawns.

I haven't seen a deer actually CLEAR a game proof fence, but have heard many accounts where they did.
I also can tell you that, on more than one occasion, a tagged doe has shown up on the main part of my cousins ranch, after being caught and released a couple of times. No holes anywhere, no gates left open, and no possible way of getting out other than jumping.
We've also seen deer taken from one ranch, released 6 miles away at another ranch, and then be spotted trying to get BACK into the original ranch....wonder how they know?
"SSHhhhhh! Be Vewy, vewy qwiet....I'm hunting WABBITS!

deer can jump high fences, its rare, but if all the planets align perfectly, they can clear and 8 foot fence.
most go thru them, if the fence isn't tite-lockt, then if you hit it hard enough the fence busts open
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I don't know about whitetails but I once observed an adult Axis Buck jump over an 8 foot fence to get to a hot doe on the other side. The buck went up to the fence trying to get through. When he found that he couldn't get through the fence, he went several yards out away from the fence, raced back to the fence and cleared it with apparent ease.
