Also has anybody had problems shooting Kents out of a Benelli Nova? I cant get them to cycle well, a buddy of mine with the same gun has the same problems. Just wondering if anybody else has noticed this.

That's what I have been hacking about all this time. I can't get experts to pattern but Remington sure shot is just as cheap and patterns very well in my weapon. That was a good read.
A good majority of folks have never put there pellets on paper. I do it for fun. I just love those "this brand shell is the shizzles" threads.

Had the same thing happen to a buddy with a 870.

The key is that loads pattern differently in different guns.
His/her results don't apply to your gun.
However, patterns don't tell you what the shot string looks like. The shot string is 3D while the pattern is 2D. That is why different loads with the same pattern/speed can perform differently in the field.

I take very little weight of importance to shotstrings. I just don't' think it matters all that much in hunting situations in the first place and no one is going to be able to measure it anyway except for maybe ammo companies that have the equipment needed to measure it.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

I got out this weekend, and tried several loads out of my SbE II with a kicks modified choke myself. I shot Kent 3" #3 1 1/8 load and it seemed to pattern a little left and high. I was shooting 30 yards at a 24" circle. About half the shot was above the circle.
I then tried Kent 3" #3 11/4 load. Pretty much the exact same result. I Shot Black Cloud 31/2 # 4, and wow nearly all the pellets were in the circle.
The last round i tested was the Winchester 3" #3 drylock 1 3/8 load. It by far had the best pattern of all the 3" shells I tested. Don`t know if this will help anyone, but those were my results. Will be doing some more testing soon.
