We haven't been to the lease in a few weeksasmy wife had a brain tumor removed.She is doing great now and wanted to go hunting.We get to the lease this evening and go to check the cameras. First camera shows not much action. Second camera is gone, third camera is gone, forth camera is gone. We also check the timer batteries on the feeders and discover all 4 feeders are empty of corn. Going to call GW in the morning and Alabama forestery Insurance Co. hoping these are covered on the policy but I doubt it. Three Stealth Cam IR's and 12 volt external battery packs gone. Starting to dislike Cass county now.

I hunt in Cass County also and we had a couple cameras taken and a heater from my blind.

I feel for you. I hunt Red River county and it's bad there as well. I had a camera stolen last year. When I replaced it, I called my home owners to see if I could insure it. The camera is a Scoutguard SG580M and they insured the camera, the steel theft deterrent box (that didn't work last year), and a 4GB SD card for a total of $23 for the year with no deductible. This is against theft, and destruction. Now that I know that it is this affordable, I won't go without it. I hope it doesn't get stolen, but if it does, I'm covered.

Glad your wife is better. I've lost so much stuff to theives that I don't leave anything of value at the lease anymore.

The forth camera was an older wildgame cameras. You know the cheep ones that only cost $50 bucks or so @ wally world. It was a gift from my son so I'm glad they left it but I would have rather have my stealth cams back. Hopefully in a couple years we can replace them as these Dr. bills right now are pilling up and they get paid first.

Janie your right one day they will answer for it. Maybe not to me or the law but someday they will answer to the Lord for it.

Hope your wife's recovery will make it all better. If you are planning on putting out camera's and feeders in in East Texas good luck. That is why all the serious hunters in East Texas move South and West during deer season.
