if i ever get to retire from coaching , canadian whitetail hunting..if not , south texas whitetail hunting....cape buffalo a near second to the deer though..the thought of traveling long distances and going on a big hunting adventure sounds like a blast..

I am with you guys on that, lost my little brother 3 yrs ago yesterday and it hasn't been the same. You're right though, life goes on. I'm just thankful for the time I did get to spend with him.

I'd like to have one hunt for any big game animal where all of my close friends, yes all three, and my brother could enjoy the hunt, the camp and success. While were there we would have to hunt for a way to avoid going on to that "other" life. Okay 5 but I pay two of them so I can say that.

For me it would be a Hill Country/Brush Country/West Texas deer hunt for my 14 year old son. We have an east Texas timber company lease and he's not seen a deer, much less a buck, in the 4 years he's been trying.

At first I was thinking Gemsbok in Africa but I think it would have to be me and my son since he is only 3 now obviously a few years down the road and my grandpa on a Colorado elk hunt in October when my grandpa goes every year.

Wow...do I second that...without dad's & grand pa's most of us would not be on this forum. Yea, mine would be hunting Gambles and Blues in N.M. with our old English...DIXIE. Only time i saw my Dad cry is when he buried that dog.
