I just purchased a Pelican rifle case and it came with two solid 1.5" pieces of foam in the bottom. I would like to cut one of those pieces in half to .75". Does anyone know of a place in Dallas that could do a clean cut?

I have done mine with a harbor freight hot knife. You can borrow mine if you want, was pretty straigh forward.

Draw it out with a sharpie, and use an electric knife to cut it out. Works perfect.

I outlined my guns with white chalk and used a soldering gun with the thin flat tip. I cut about a 1/4 in inside the line for a tight fit. You can also order just the middle foam and cut out for different guns, and interchange as need be.
