When you say you dont have all the information that is very true. I am the one that was driving the truck, the guy in the back is my friend that was with me. I wanna first point out that none of us have EVER hunted with yall or have yall showed us "your spot". We have been hunting this lake since early teal season and all threw the first split and in this spot MANY of times. My friend was told by Ryan that he hunted across from a boat ramp out of him just saying we never asked where he hunted, which by no means was him showin us or us even hunting with him ever. We were supposed to be going to a different lake to hunt that day and ryan asked my friend what we were doing and they he was going to go to this lake to fight the crowds and hunt. Plans fell threw so we decided to head to the lake and to the spot we have hunted 4 different times and where we had built blinds. When we pull up to the lake there is a truck and jeep parked next to the bridge with a couple guys standin around and no dog anywhere in the road or to be seen. So i go by them doing maybe 5 mph because its on a slope and muddy and just because im not going to haul but past somebody. I flashed my lights at them sayin "hello" but had no idea who the guys were and we parked at a different spot so i proceeded to drive. We get to where we drop off the gear and put on waders, a couple of my friends have already got their stuff on and are headin to the spot because we saw headlamps on the other side of the lake, while myself and my other friend that drove are still at the trucks a truck comes haulin butt down the road and a guy jumps out dropping f-bombs and yellin. He walks up to one of my friends and says that we are Sh*ty people and that we stole "their" spot and proceeded to say its first come first serve which i totally agree, Keep in mind we are atleast half a mile if not more from where we previously passed these guys. This Ryan guys gets in my buddys face yellin and cussin while my friend doesnt cuss or raise his voice at all tryin to calm him down and talk it out. We tell him if he really wants the spot bad enough we can all hunt together but that we were to the spot first and thats where we were going to hunt. After about 5 min of yellin at my friend Ryan takes off toward the hole where a couple of my friends were already. He walks out there and starts yellin at my other friend about how we stole his spot and that we cant hunt there. My friend calmly says that that its public land. Ryan keeps telling my friend that we need to go hunt somewhere else and that we coudlnt all hunt there. Again my friend stats that we were there first and its first come first serve. Ryan seemed to think just because he was at the lake first that meant he had first pick to the whole lake. After about 10 min of this he comes back cussin my other buddy out that was tryin to get his dog and comes by to the truck where i am yellin sayin we are F-ed up and pieces of trash. Also while ryan was down in the spot where we hunt his friend was standin with me and other friend by the trucks and i asked him if the blinds we had built were still there because he said they had hunted there the night before and he told me that we may not even be talking about the same place. I finally got the 7-11 donuts outta my system and put on all my gear and me and my other friend drove our trucks back to where we park. After we walked back down to the lake and out to the spot 3 guys started coming toward us and we turned on our lights to let whoever it was know we were there. Their response was "we know and dont give a f**k". After the hunt we got back to dry ground my friend who had talked to ryan on the phone threw text had a text from ryan cussin him out call us trash and that we stole his spot and we are f-ed up and so on. Not once were we rude to these guys or cussed at them. We tried to solve the issue by letting them hunt beside us which they refused. All mornin long we got texts with the same stuff, prolly about 30 F bombs, Ryan saying he should have punched my friend in the mouth..If yall would like we still have all the emails and text messages from my friend and ryan.


I read this and i dont know who the "kelly gunner" is but i would like for everybody to know the true story about what happen and how NEVER have we met these guys or hunted with them. Its public land and its first come first serve to the spot not to the lake.

I get a call saying a guy helps out a newbie on here and takes him out to lake x and they do pretty good. The next weekend comes and he calls up dude and says hey do you want to join me, he says no I'm not hunting today. They hang up the phone as they get to the spot and my buddies dog is playing in the road and a truck comes hualing butt down the road, almost hits the dog. One guy gets out sprinting down the to the spot. They both run down there to the new truck and I can't repeat some of the words on here what they said to them especially since it was not only the guy who he took out last week but also he was the one who said he wasn't hunting today!!!

For all newbies on here, this is the lesson of the day- IF SOMEONE TAKES YOU OUT HUNTING, THAT IS NOT YOUR NEW SPOT!
