I have a question for yall... Im pretty new to hunting and I was thinking with this upcoming cold front this weekend and new moon, and rain coming in, I would think that the deer, including older bucks may be moving more because of that. Would yall think so?

It appears to be one of the best weekends this season for 2 reasons:
1. cold, rain, moon
2. I'm stuck at a basketball tournament all weekend and can't go

I'm taking off Thursday afternoon and Friday to get in some extra time in the field this weekend.

I'll be out there Friday morning!!!

Doesn't matter to me, new moon or not, my crew change is tomorrow after 4 weeks offshore and I'll be in stand Friday morning!!!

I think we have a near quarter moon this weekend. As long as the damn wind don't start blowing a 100 mph again the bucks ought to be moving, rain or no rain.

I am leaving tomorrow evening and will be there till Tuesday mid-day. I am like you Mike, I would like to see a lot less wind than my last two trips.
