Go to Academy, find a mouth call, cottontail distress closed reed will be enough for a beginner. Get the cheapest one, they all use the same reed set up, the additional cost is based mostly on reputation. Go to You Tube and search coyote calling, and watch a few of them. That will be enough to get you hooked, if you know an experienced predator hunter ask them to show you or ask to hunt with them. All of the reading and all of the videos etc. is not as good as going out with an experienced predator caller.

one of my favorite calls is the burnham brothers mini blaster. As mentioned before many calls will work. If I was closer I would be more than willing to help you out. There are sights out there like predatormasters that a pretty good source of info as well.

I work at Academy in Burleson, come and see me...we can talk face to face finally and arrange a time to go calling if you like. If you still have my number, holler at me. Chupa Jay
