Has anyone owned or hunted using the Ghost Blind? I have been checking them out and I have to say i am pretty intrigued. I have been considering asking Santa Claus for one, but wanted to see if anyone could give me some first hand feedback.

They're terrible IMO. If you were closer I would give you mine. They're basically cardboard. I used mine once, got ticked off because I couldn't keep it from blowing over (it was staked down as the instructions said) and I folded it up and shoved it under a bush and set up ny popup.

Pretty good gimmic but like you said it has flaws, like not hiding your movement as you peer over the top in order to shoot, which is not as good as a pop up that puts your movements in the dark or behind a mesh screen.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Neat concept just not sure how good they are. Wondered what would happen if deer or orher critter got close enought to see its reflection

It angles down, so they would have to be within a foot to see themselves.

Have had deer that close without a blind on more than one occasion. but the angle would make a difference for sure.

Hmm...I appreciate the feedback guys. Wanna ship yours to me Csddarden? I am intrigued and would like to try one, but I don't know if I want to drop 230 bucks. I would be willing to pay for shipping and your trouble.

I'll go look for it after this morning hunt. Not exactly sure where it is as I haven't seen it since the 2nd week of bow season. If it's not ruined I'll talk to doubledrop14 about it. We went halfs on it so I guess it's not really "mine" but it's a piece of crap either way.

I couldn't find mine last weekend. I know it's in a general area, but still haven't located it. Can't remember if I shoved it under a mesquite or a cedar. Doesn't help that the back panels that show when it's folded up are camo.

Search for it on youtube. There is a guy on there that shows you how to make one for like 50 bucks

I was never to intrigued by these things. Always seemed to me that some jackwagon got the bright idea of glueing some aluminum foil onto a peice of cardboard, called it a deer blind and tried to get rich

And if it works and his customers are happy, what is wrong with that?
