Any one have a rut report or just a general hunting report for Lampasas county? I'm headed down tomorrow.

The rut is over over over over..
You might catch a buck sniffing.. The ones I saw.. Were running together and not real concerned with does.. Now the second small rut for the does who didn't take and the young ones could kick off any day now.. I am wanting to guess early December, but that is just a guess..
I hunt in Lometa and just got back yesterday
When in doubt.. Empty the magazine

I hunt west of Lampasas towards bend. Saw some young bucks chasing yesterday. I'm in the stand now. I will post pics if the big one comes in.

I have a hard time believing the rut is over since there is still alot of noses on the ground. I let a big 10 walk last wknd that I have been kicking myself for. Luckly I saw him yesterday but he was about 200 yds away. Still using my bow, I hope he comes close before the wknd is over. Good luck to you.

Been a good morning so far lots of deer. I have seen a few spikes still chasing. Had a nice 8 come in but he was not interested in the girls.
