Staying home with my boy while wife does Christmas shopping. Not having to shop is worth alot to me.  Of course, watching football, drinking a few beers and spending time with the boy is very much worth missing some days in the woods.  PK

I already shot my buck and now my wife will not let me go back to the lease as much as I would like to! I do have to agree with PK though, a few beers while watching Dallas play at 3 is gonna be pretty nice!!!
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Sick...after duck hunting yesterday morning and performing a swim test  so the deer hunting for this afternoon and tomorrow had to be canceled  Getting ready for some Cowboys football

had a friend call me last night runs a lease in jack county had a new guy on the lease this year he never hunted before last night he shot a button buck and did not know how or want to clean it my friend field dressed it and brought it to me complete with a WRD so I got a free deer
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

yep, in Lovington, New Mexico.
We were supposed to be done the 23rd, but the rig broke down and they can't get parts until tomorrow and it will take a day to fix. Looks like I am spending Christmas in NM!
But it is alright cuz I am making that money...and I get to sit in a hotel and get paid for doing nothing for the next couple of days while they are offline.

You don't really get into them until you hit Tatum. But i've seen them all over that area, all the way back to Seminole TX. Theres some big ones out there, especially around Milinsands.

I SHOULD HAVE kept hunting instead of heading in early to catch the Cowboys game. The deer were moving good, watched an 8pt chase a doe around. The hogs have migrated back to my place, they had really tore up jack around my tank, so looks like I will be doing some extermination work this week.
