We shot around 5 hogs in the first few weekends in October, but have not seen hide nor hair of any hogs since then! Where they be?

Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Wish that was the case at my lease. Would much rather not have hogs than have a bunch like we have. So far have only seen one BIG boar that I could get a shot at and he is no more. The rest seem to be nocternal and have not seen except opening weekend at long range.

We have not seen the first hog or any sign of them this year at all. Kinda miss those chops.

We found a 410 pounder in Crowell Saturday and a 260 pound blonde sow on Sunday night. The guy in the photo is on our lease up in Crowell.

good pig there, I shot one in the upper #300s this past weekend, both of his tusks were broke off or he would have looked good. I am overrun with them. I just cant see people talking about eating big pigs, not only infested with fleas and ticks but ought to be on the chewy side.

Have ate meat from a 300+ pound sow that was good. a 250lb boar was also good and after processing threw away the meat from an 80lb boar. I think how they taste has more to do with their diet than size or age

I had heards of 30+ hitting the feeders several times a week last year. I have had exactly 1 on cam since June. Idk where they went, probably the lake when everything else went dry, but I have a water trough that I have been hauling water to in the feeder pen. They are fun to shoot but I don't miss them.

Well we got another piebald boar today that went 200. I said I had never eaten one this big so we got the hams and loins out if this one and we'll try it. He had some LONG loins, probably 3' long each. Should be good as loin chops.

Nothing is coming to my feeder since 11/5. Not a deer, hog, coon or squirrel. Every animal in the county was eating more than their share of my corn between March and Nov. 5. Now its rotting under the feeder!
