Suppose moonrise is midnight. Will hogs be more active between sunset and midnight, or between midnight and sunrise the next day?
Thanks

Depends on what the moon phase is. Up to 60% moon they will move all the time. After that they will start moving before the moon comes up or after it goes down. Most likely after it goes down

Hogs are a hard thing to pattern...iv had mixed results on both sides..just need to be in the right place at the right time... durring full moons were its bright all night i have seen the best results while the moon is on its way up...then everything but yotes calm down about midnight..they move when they want

Most likely after it goes down From what you've said it sounds like they prefer it to be darker. Either when the moon isn't up or when there is a dark overcast.

From what you said about them being more active while the moon is rising on full moon nights it sounds like more support for the idea that they prefer it to be dark.
