This buck was taken by the son of a friend/colleague of mine. It is his first mule deer and they hunted 9 days to find a buck this good. The buck is 28 ½” wide straight across the seconds (30” wide from the cheater) and has 27” long main beams. He is very tall and has great mass. He shot him with a 300 WSM.

He drew first year. It is set up that way for Nevada youth. I think the kids are pretty much guaranteed a tag until their 16th birthday.
