Trying to find out the best game camera for the money. Bought a few Wildgame innovations and I not happy with them to say the least. For the past 3 weeks corn has been gone with no pics. Let me know your feelings on this.

They seem to be pretty hit and miss and this topic is a common one on here.

Try a couple of different ones. By them at Academy and you can return them pretty easy if they don't work.

I think I have 12 now. I have been pleased with the Moultrie I-80. The I-40 (think that was it, had problems with the display) is a great camera, but they quit making it. Have 2 and they have gone strong for over 3 years now and thousands of pictures. Stay away from the I-65's, had nothing but issues.

I have two Wildlife Innovations. One is great, one is worthless.

I have a cheap Browning that I bought at Walmart and it out does them all.

The rest of mine are Moultrie. I bought them because Customer Service has always been easy to deal with.

Good Luck

I have used Moultrie, Cuddeback, Leaf River in the past with mixed results. Cudde's take the best pics when they work but customer service sucks. The older Cuddes are better and the Attack IR is a waste of time and money IMO. Very poor IR strength and battery life is really bad. Moultrie takes the most pics but quality of pics is not good on the models I have used. Leaf River were sent back to Cabelas as I did not care for them at all. Pic quality was bad. I have now bought a Spypoint Bloodline 7.0 and really like the pic quality in daylight and the IR strength at night and pic quality is great as long as deer is not moving. I also bought a Primos to try out since I have heard mixed revues on them. But have not put it out yet.

Game cams hardly ever last more than one whole season of taking pics ! seems the hot to cold screw's up the liquid crystal view board, and Ya get a lot of black blank pics. I think Im done buying trail cams. 150.00 here 200.00 there, HELL I could have purchased another rifle and scope. Good luck.

All I've used have been the Stealth Cams since 2008. This is the 4th year of use (from August through January) and I am still pleased with them. They do seem to have a little slower trigger speed this year but they are over a feeder so it doesn't concern me too much. They both have a flash as well.

Just got the M80 and I'm impressed. Look around you can get it shipped to your door for under $150. Very easy to use and Moultrie customer service is very good. My I40 is on it's 3rd year and still has no issues and I run it everyday year around. I did have one that had a problem, sent it to Moultrie and got a brand new camera in a week. I will only buy Moultrie after that.

I have 2 Bushnells. Both are great cameras. Ones new & other is 1 year old, no problems.

Bought my first game cam last year, but never set it up. Installed it this year and it seems to work fine. It's a Wildgame Innovations cam. Mine has the external power pack. I do get a lot of "blank" photos, but they're due to wind. I have the camera mounted to a small tree and when the wind blows it can set the camera off. Of course now I have lots of really cool pics of my feeder from all kinds of neat angles...

This particular model doesn't show the weather temp. I think that would be valuable info, so my next one will have this feature.

I am with you on this. I am done with trail cams. I have tried Moultrie, Wildgame Innovations, Stealth Cam, and have had issues with all of them. I can't keep spending $150 for a disposable camera...

up Agreed. If you keep your eye out, Cabela's and Bass Pro will put these on sale for $119.00. I grabbed three when they went on sale in October. So far, the best camera I've owned. And trust me, I've owned just about every camera mentioned above. up

My old Stealth WD2s lasted for 5 years and they were out pretty much 24/7 365. Now they did take some blank pictures. I upgraded this year to Spypoint they have been out 24/7 since January and take great pictures without hardly any blanks. Battery life is great too for cameras that are taking 2500 to 4000 pictures a month. Good cameras are out there you just have to arm yourself with some knowledge like checking out www.chasingame.com
