Just got friends new toy in my hands today for sighting in for him. Put a Nikon 3-9x50 Prostaff on top. 10 shots in today and it was holding a 1" group @ 100 in todays wind. I was very impressed with the small round. To me it was like shooting a 17. the DPMS lower parts were ok for the bill. it just need a trigger upgrade.
Does anyone else have any likes or dislike about this platform?

The only problem I here is that it destroys the brass, but that is just on the AR upper. The round itself is fantastic.

It's a neat round in pistol applications. In a rifle, it just can't do what a 5.56 will. If you reload, pay very close attention to the shoulder bump. I'n the FiveseveN pistols the shoulder would blow out .020 which is huge. The FiveseveN could also fire out of battery and improper shoulder setback could cause a catastrophic disassembly. I played around with this cartridge for a about year before I sold it all off. You're probably ok in the AR platform but it is just something to be aware of with it if you decide to reload that round.

Haven't really played with the 5.7 in an AR platform or pistol but do have a PS90 which is a lot of fun. Ballistics are close to a 22 Hornet. Of reloading plan pn full legnth sizing and inspect those cases. Out of a PS90 the shoulder is also set forward with firing.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch
