My family has 13 farms we own near Pike Co., IL [Schuyler] for lease for 2012. Farms are 20- 650 acres and average under $25.00 per acre. Email me for more info. and aerials. No PM's please.

You guys may not want to spend any money but you have a good sense of humor. So far this year the biggest deer are 165" and 169" no monsters yet.Nathan,Can't lease 1 acre might consider 2 though. Keith,Can't take $500.00 on the 20, paid $4700.00 per acre a while back.

Might help if you list the ranches and how much for each one. X2 I was serious it said $25 an acre for 20 acres I was all over it. Please list acres and total price would be a huge help

Yes. Had some issues with figuring out which properties were which and viewing the aerials, but it was user error

It is a draw, but there have been several hundred permits left over for the last several years. I have never had a hunter not get a buck and doe tag.

And it's $550 for out of stater license if I remember correctly
A mature buck might be a deer, but you can bet it's a totally different animal

I grew up in Illinois just moved to Texas a few years ago. Stlll go back and hunt while i'm visiting family. The license is not to bad. I think its like 50 something for a non resident. The permits is where the cost is. Its around 400 for an either sex, anterless permit archery permit. Its sold over the counter. The firearm permit is 300 for the seven day season i think and it is a lottery. I think the first drawing is in april but i can't remember for sure.
There are some great deer there. I lived in the southern part. a friend just sent me a picture of a buck in the 240's or 250's

$410.00 for an either sex and antlerless archery tag [2 tags], 3 1/2 month season. $325 for either sex and antlerless firearms tag, 7 days of hunting over a 2 week period. Hunting license is $57.75 for non residents.
