Just finished building my 300 blackout last week. All sighted in and ready to go shoot some hogs. Anyone have a load worked up for theirs?

I'm using 19.3gr H110 and a 125gr Sierra Pro Hunter. Sounds like a 22lr with my can on it.

Sure. I'll start working on it in the coming weeks. I am meeting up with a buddy/customer to do some load work-up with his blk out.

Looks to me you can fire factory Blackout in a Whisper. Anyone tried it?

NO, on shooting 300 Blackout in a Whisper. BUT Hornaday Whisper loads are in SAMMI spec to shoot out of a Blackout. I have loaded 110 v-max,110 Sierra HP (20 gr H110), 125 Rem SP (17.8 gr H110),130 gr Hornaday SPs, and 150 SPs. They ALL shoot good. Can on order so I now have 10 lbs. of 1680, a great sub load with 220 grain bullet is 10.7 grains of 1680, out of a 16" barrel it was 1050 fps. AND cycles the action perfectly. I am talking with a Commercial reloader on loading some 110 V-max,130 SOST bullets, 150 plinkers AND some sub-sonic stuff. ALso got my mold in for some 247 grain LEAD boolits.

Looks to me you can fire factory Blackout in a Whisper. Anyone tried it? Depends on the Whisper barrel as it's a wildcat. I can shoot my Blackout loads out of my 300 Fireball barrel but I can't shoot my Fireball loads out of the Blackout barrel. OP, what barrel length are you using? I am currently using 10.4-10.6gr of H4198 with 208gr A-Max. Load depends on whether I am loading for Fireball (16") or Blackout (9.5"). I might up end with 10.4gr on both barrels once I get more data gathered. I have also used up to 17gr of H4198 with 125gr TNT on supersonic loads. I don't have data past 17gr yet as I haven't shot either caliber in a while but I plan to get back to them once deer season ends. Other powders to consider: Accurate 1680, Vihtavuori N110, Reloder 7. Powders I have used and don't recommend: Hodgdon H110.

Boonee- you wouldn't shoot at a critter with that subsonic load, would you?

Here is my Blackout build. Sorry for the pic quality was using my cell phone. Just a DPMS oracle upper with an AR stoner barrel and a AAC 762SD suppressor. I am going hunting all this week with it and am planning on doing some ballistic testing on some hogs. I am gonna try to shoot one with remingtons subsonic load and see what happens.

Went and got some 110gr V-Max and Lil Gun powder to try out. I'm gonna hit the range in a couple weeks and see what it will do.
