Looking to buy a Benelli shotgun for dove, quail, pheasant and duck hunting. Which Benelli would you recommend I consider and look at? Price isnt an issue, just want a good gun. Thanks

I think the best is the M1 or M2 field, also known as the Super 90. Comes in 20 and 12 gauge. I have one and I use it for all shotgun situations, such as dove and turkey.

Super Black Eagle. It is what I shoot and is awesome. I use it for dove, duck, quail, and turkey. If I was only hunting dove and quail, I would get the M1 field 20 gauge.

Best for duck, goose, crane, and turkey hunting - Super Black Eagle II - http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/index.tpl

If you want a general purpose 12 gauge, I would also suggest the M2 Field - http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/m2.tpl

I've hunted dove and quail with the M1 Field - awesome shotgun, but not necessarily the gun if you are looking for one solution for all your bird hunting - http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/m1.tpl

Take look at the cost of Benelli. I use the Benelli Nova. Great gun for all game and the price is right. I spent arouund $350.00 for the gun.

I bought a Super Black Eagle last year. It is absolutely the best shotgun I've ever owned!

I bought the old model (not the on with the recoil inserts in the stock). I felt that those soft inserts would eventually breakdown and have to be replaced. Just my .02 worth...

Nature Boy ,
I had a Benelli Nova to but the tactical version.
It was a great Shotgun that I miss dealry my favored of some dozen differnt shotguns I have owend and will soon get another ASAP as finacnes dictate!I only paid $289 for mine NIB from Bachmans a the BigTown show a couple years back!
It tossed slugs and buckshot with surgical pecision.
Ill likely not have the money for the other fine models these gents listed but I really appreciate Benelli and their products. Could that I affoard one Id love to have a M4!!!

As for pump guns on budget around the $300 class why not step into the 21st century you 870/500/1300 fans and try a Nova!!!Not that Those big three dont deserve their props. I have my 870 still!

When I am stupid they dont mind me; when Im right they want to scold me....
