It could happen. I saw a picture of a 315" deer in Grayson County. If that deer was killed it would be in an elite club since only a handfull of bucks ever killed LF scored over 300". He would blow away the state record for LF bucks in Texas by almost 30".

A 315" native LF deer would blow away everything LF from Tx or elsewhere. I know the WR was taken by a kid in Ohio with a muzzleloader a few years ago that was over 300" but not sure the total number.

I didn't say I saw a dead buck or a buck that was killed. It's a breeder buck.

I have a name but I can't confirm it. I'll post if I do find out for sure. I'm sure somebody will beat me to it though.

Here is the Pic sent to my by ClearcreekDC: I don't know how to even start scoring this thing. I wouldn't argue with mid 200's but really have no idea on non-typicals like this from a picture. I saw a buck (the actual deer) that looked a lot like that about 8 years ago that was killed between Denton and the 1171 exit off 35W but I don't think it was that big. Same genetics I bet. Different area from where I was told this deer was killed.

I don't want to hear " I can neither confirm or deny this" cause right about now it's sounds like I got a name from 2 people who don't know each other. The name I have is a local and not somebody I would suspect would start a rumor like this. You never know though, that's why I'm not posting the name yet.

There was also a 195" deer killed in Denton County on Friday. Go to Hopkins Outdoors to see pics. The guy killed a 200" on the same lease 2 years ago. A customer/friend of mine killed a big one around Decatur this weekend on 15 acres. I will work on pics.
