Has anyone used one of these while hunting? My wife got me one for my birthday this year and I want to use it, but I remember from the years that I smoked that a zippo has a distinctive smell to it when it's lit. Any opinions?
Thanks!!! Matt
The psycho nut bags have always been there. They just get better press now. Take away their guns, they'll use knives. Take away their knives and they'll use sticks!!

Never used one, but don't think that the smell (if it has one) is going to be any more damaging to your hunt than human odor.

The thermocell also works as a hand warmer and it doubles as flying bug eliminator.

A thousand reasoned opinions never equal to one case of diving in and finding out.

Thanks!!! Matt I have one, still in its original red cloth pouch, used it many, many years hunting in the North... Put it inside a handwarmer muff which was around my waist..kept my hands nice and toasty on stand during those extreme cold hunts... Never had a issue with sent runnin off game... Funny you brought this up, just found mine a couple days ago while diggin thru totes of hunting gear,, my wife saw it and thought it was a giant cigarette lighter....
