I hear lots of people talk about how there are not any big bucks in the northwest part of Callahan County near Abilene. Here are 2 that I have taken on our ranch to prove otherwise.

I hunt in callahan also and we always seem to take some nice deer.

166" deer taken in opening weekend of youth season just north of baird. i know as they pulled my arrow out of its shoulder blade from the previous weekend. awesome deer btw, love the mass

The problem with our lease in Callahan county is that you may go 10 stand times and never see a deer but when you do,,, the pictures above is what you may see!

Very Nice! I have the same issue at our place. Lots of activity at the feeders at night but little to no activity in the day time.
