My parents are having their 30th anniversary next year and my mom is trying to plan something big for my dad. She came to me looking for a little help.

My dad is a big hunter and has always wanted to either go Elk hunting or Ram hunting. My mom has been trying to find something where she can get him a guided hunt for either of the two animals, it doesn't have to be both. She was worried that she wouldn't really enjoy doing that with him and was going to try and find something where my dad, brother and me would all go together. Which sounds like a great idea to me, but I really feel like they should spend their anniversary together.

I'm trying to find a place that cators to both the person who wants to hunt and the wife who wants to be there but not really do the hunting thing. Maybe somewhere where my dad can do his guided hunt during the day and while he's out hunting, the place maybe offers spas, shopping, etc. things my mom would like and then they can still spend their evenings together around a camp fire or dinner or just something together.

If any one on here knows of somewhere that has these types of options or packages (it can be just about anywhere in the US) or has been to one themselves, any info would be greatly appreciated (phone numbers, websites, personal reviews). I don't know if there are ranches/resorts that have these types of offers but the idea seemed resonable and something that someone would offer to appeal to both spouses.

You can hunt Africa for the same price as an Elk. Why not treat him to hunt the dark continent. Could possibly work something out for you on the group and there will be plenty for mom and the non hunters to do.

Hey Marius thanks for the info and really liked the website. I'm not sure the thought to leave the country for something like this even crossed their minds. But seems to be a really fair and good option. I will get with my mother and see what she thinks. I will get back with you on what they think.

My parents had their 45yr anniversary this year, so I know how important it is to the old folks.
I'm sure we can work out an anniversary deal for them, so dont pay too much attention to the prices on the website.
