What is your range from your blind to your feeder? I have mine at about 80yds.

75-180 depending on which stand. Only one is more than 100.

I have only one stand to hunt out of, so that's it for me....

I don't like to have to worry about the deer seeing or hearing me so I back mine out to at least 130 yards. I would move farther away but that's about as far as my son can make a good shot.

On my enclosed blind setup that I use when hunting with my wife and kids, only about 75 yards. The rest really just depends. I have one nearly 300 yards out because its a very open area and a non inclosed blind. Most of my feeder setups are for feeding and patterning the deer, usually hunt a mix of trails, scrapes, from bedding to feeding, or stageing to feeding.

Just read your post about it being your only stand, are you comfortable shooting 150 yards plus? Do you strictly stand hunt? Just be carefull getting to close, them old doe hags will tip off your location to every deer in the woods.

Bow hunting, 15-25 yrds. Rifle hunting, 75-100 yrds. Can I shoot farther, of course but don't need to. We hunt in the brush country though, everybody is different. With a rifle I like making head & neck shots, puttem' down right there. 150 to 250 yrds away is out of my comfort zone for those kinda shots, that's just me.

bout 85 yds and wish it was little longer. The others on the lease are all closer than mine. Little too close for comfort for me. Might be moving next year.

Our farthest is 262 yds and its only that far because we wanted to keep it out of the middle of the wheat field. The rest are less than 150 yds.

Mine is 75 yards. Got kids hunting with me and not so hard for them to shoot. Haven't had any problems with noise either. We have a box blind with plexiglass windows and carpet inside.

It depends on the land but we keep ours around 100 yards away.
Texas is better.
